Doctoral Studies

Doctoral studies are the most important further education studies at the ETH. The Department of Environmental Systems Science offers holders of a Master of Science or a degree the opportunity to work on a dissertation with the aim of achieving a Doctor of Sciences (Dr. sc. ETH Zurich).

For admission without having to take an entry exam, it is necessary to have an ETH degree or an ETH Masters or equivalent degree from another university. The statutes and further information can be found at the Doctorate office of the ETH Zurich.
